Father–Son Mishmar at Yesodei Yisrael

The first of many BEH! Our inaugural monthly father-son learning mishmar was a big hit!

The evening opened with meaningful words from Rosh Yeshiva Rav Shimon Kronenberg, who reminded the boys that long before any rebbe or teacher enters their lives, their fathers are and always will be their first and last mechanchim and that strengthening that lifelong connection between father and son is central to a boy’s growth as a Ben Torah.

Yesodei Rebbe, Rav Zev Sheff led the learning by first distributing Mare Mekomos which the father and son chavrusos prepared, then delivered a shiur on the topic of neros chanukah. 

Everyone enjoyed homemade potato kugel and pastries straight from the Yesodei family kitchen, adding a delicious personal touch to the evening!

Through programs such as father-son mishmar, Yesodei builds strong family partnerships as part of each child's personal chinuch and development experience.
